Mapicture® can import vector maps in the MapInfo export format Mif/Mid. The software comes with a standard package of administrative base maps (municipalities, regions, parishes, jurisdictions, police districts, zip codes, nominating districts and electoral districts).

Mapicture Aps can produce special map segmentations and deliver these along with the software as consultancy services.

Cartography
Cartography can be either topographic (buildings, roads, addresses) or thematic (high/low income), and Mapicture® can be applied for both of these purposes.

Mapicture® is based on conveying the best possible visual analysis and ensuring communication. This is achieved via the option for either a 1 or 2 color scale and the use of illustrative icons in maps.
